Labradorite Pebble

Labradorite Pebbles

“Want to know why Labradorite has a particular place in Earth Root Studio? Read the story in The Root Journal.”

There is something almost secretive about Labradorite. At first glance it can appear grey and unassuming, then the light catches it and suddenly there are flashes of blue, green, gold or silver hiding beneath the surface.

Perhaps that is why Labradorite has long been associated with intuition, transformation and the unseen parts of ourselves.

In crystal traditions it is often considered a stone for times of change — a companion when stepping into something new, trusting your instincts or reconnecting with your own inner knowing. It is also associated with imagination, creativity and spiritual exploration, making it especially lovely for artists, makers, dreamers and anyone drawn to the slightly mysterious edges of things.

Traditionally associated with:

  • Intuition and inner wisdom

  • Transformation and new beginnings

  • Creativity and imagination

  • Spiritual exploration

  • Protection of personal energy

  • Third Eye and Crown Chakra work

Keep one in your pocket, hold it during meditation or creative work, or place it somewhere the changing light can reveal its hidden colour.

Each pebble is naturally different. Some will show their flash immediately while others reveal it only from a particular angle — which, to me, is rather part of the magic of Labradorite.

Crystal meanings are drawn from traditional and spiritual practices and are offered for personal reflection rather than as medical or scientific claims.
